    About Dr. Brooks

    Simply known by my amazing clients as Dr. Brooks, I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over fifteen years of experience specializing in women’s mental health.

    After earning a B.A. in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University, I went on to earn a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology (Washington DC), completing my clinical training at Spring Grove Hospital Center in Maryland. I’ve served as a university doctoral Training Director and have delivered mental health services in a number of settings, including Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

    I started my private practice in 2009, initially with the intent of simply providing staff development and consultation to mental health professionals. After only two years of launching my business, I decided to extend my practice to providing individual therapy to women requesting mental health services. Since opening my doors, I’ve been fortunate enough to grow a robust and successful private practice specializing in helping women create a high quality lifestyle for themselves and their families!
